Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using getlandy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

getlandy is an AI-powered professional brand studio that helps users define, align, and activate their career positioning. The Service generates CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn content, and other career assets based on user input.

3. AI Output & Disclaimer

Important: The content generated by getlandy is created by Artificial Intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and high quality, AI can make errors ("hallucinations").

• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all generated content before using it for job applications or publishing it.
• getlandy does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or specific career outcomes.
• The "Visa Signal" features are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal immigration advice. Always consult a qualified immigration attorney.
• We make no warranties regarding the uniqueness of the generated content.

4. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

5. Plans, Actions & Payment

• The Service is metered in "actions". Each plan includes a number of actions per billing period, and you can buy additional action packs.
• New accounts get a free trial of 14 days. No payment details are needed for it. When it ends without a paid plan, your public profile is taken offline until you choose one. Your account and everything you created are kept, and you can still sign in, view and export them.
• Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions that renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. The price, including any applicable tax, is shown before you pay. If you choose the Identity plan during your free trial, the first payment is taken when the trial ends.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. getlandy does not store your card details.
• You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
• Moving to a higher plan, or from monthly to yearly billing, takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata. Moving to a lower plan, or from yearly to monthly billing, takes effect at the next renewal.
• If a renewal payment fails, we will retry it for a limited time. If it still cannot be collected, your plan ends and your public profile is taken offline. Nothing you created is deleted.
• Purchased action packs do not expire and remain available if your plan ends.
• If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By asking us to start providing the Service straight away, which you confirm at checkout, you acknowledge that if you withdraw from a subscription you will pay for the part of the period already provided, and that you lose the right to withdraw from an action pack once you have started using its actions.
• Except as set out above or required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Refer a friend

• You can share your personal referral link. A new account that signs up through it gets 15% off its plan for its first 3 months (on a yearly plan, 15% off the first yearly payment).
• When that friend has made their first payment and 14 days have passed without a refund or dispute, you get 15% off your own plan for 3 months. On a yearly plan this is given as account credit of the same value. If you are not on a paid plan yet, it is applied when you choose one, within 12 months.
• Each friend who subscribes adds another 3 discounted months after the ones you already have. The discount is never more than 15%, and you can earn at most 12 discounted months in any 12-month period.
• Only new accounts can be referred: the link must be used when signing up. Opening a link after you already have an account does not count, and neither does an account that has had a paid plan before. Each account can be referred once. You cannot refer yourself, including through another account, email address, device or payment card.
• One discount applies to a payment at a time: a referral discount does not combine with a promo code. Referral discounts have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• We may withhold or remove referral discounts obtained through misuse, and we may change or end the programme for new referrals at any time. Discounts already earned are honoured.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by you), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of getlandy and its licensors. You retain rights to the personal data you input and the final output generated for your personal use.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall getlandy, its affiliates, agents, directors, employees, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, this service.

Total Liability Cap: Under no circumstances will getlandy's total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the amount you have paid getlandy in the last six (6) months, or one hundred US dollars (US$100) or its equivalent in the currency you pay in, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless getlandy and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) content posted on the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
